Microsoft is redesigning their “IntelliMouse” for gaming purposes. It has an upgraded tracking sensor, improved key actuation, base DPI of 200 up to 16,000, tracking speed up to 10,000mm per second and a report rate of 1000 reports per second. It is currently available at $59.99 for Canada and the United States and will be available in July for the rest of the world. In relation to this news, Microsoft will now be bringing more games to steam as they transition to the PC gaming market. They also announced the Xbox Game Pass, which is a subscription based service offered on the Xbox, will be coming to the PC. It will most likely be the same as the console version where you have a library of over 100+ games to play from developers like Bethesda, Sega, Paradox, Deep Silver and Devolver. There are more details to be released at this coming E3 event.
In other news, Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding is set to be released on November 8 on the PS4. This comes after a very cryptic stream of the game on Twitch which had fans baffled to what the game is about. Thankfully, Hideo Kojima sent a special message to fans after the release date was released. The message goes as “Death Stranding is a completely new type of action game, where the goal of the player is to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society. It is created so that all elements, including the story and gameplay, are bound together by the theme of the “Strand” or connection. As Sam Porter Bridges, you will attempt to bridge the divides in society, and in doing create new bonds or “Strands” with other players around the globe. Through your experience playing the game, I hope you’ll come to understand the true importance of forging connections with others.”
In more news, Cooler Master revealed new cases and cooling solutions at Computex. One of the more notable ones from their cooling solutions is the MasterAir Maker 3DVVC which holds a 3D Vertical Vapor Chamber and will be available in December and is priced at $129.99. Cooler Master also revealed their first ever wireless mouse. It is called the MM831 which claims to have “truly lag-free connectivity”. The mouse features up to 32,000 DPI and Omron switches for 20M clicks. It is said to be available in November for $99.99.
